Enemy of the Stars is a multimedia installation resulting from a research process that Alan Poma started in 2016 during a residency at the Delfina Foundation in London,
thanks to the support of MATE (Museo Mario Testino) and was continued in SISA, an artistic residence located in Urcos, south of the city of Cuzco.
The installation is a re-interpretation of the experimental play of the same name, written by the founder of English vorticism Wyndham Lewis in 1914; and invites the public to a journey of approximately 23 minutes in which the different dimensions of the flight of an Andean bird of the future are presented.
From its birth in the center of the galaxy, passing by its awakening due to the reflection of the sun on the lake of Urcos, the bird's-eye view runs through pre-Columbian architectural complexes such as Piquillacta, the Huaca Tete Qaqa and Sacsayhuaman; proposing a visual experience that generates links between science, the Andean landscape and the work of Lewis.
